After push back from Chris he said all IFC items would be done on 1 day scheduled for the 25th of July. The 25th arrived and only two of the ten items were completed leaving me with still an unfinished home affecting the livability of the home. I reported Richmond to the BBB for them not completing any work on 8/2. They replied to the BBB complaint 8/10 saying work was being scheduled to have completed. And a Customer representative called me asking not to post any social media complaints and that they had talk to everyone and were going to get everything done.
Hours- every weekend and a lot of holidays. Stressful job managing backlog and making sure you hit your sales goals. Depending on who your sales partner is you can hate coming to work or love it. Love the opportunity to run my own business per say. You are essentially an agent for the builder. Production Homebuilding is a demanding industry.
Worst Management Ever
Unfortunately, I was trapped into buying said home that I purchased under differing market conditions from initiation to when we closed. This profile has not been claimed by the company. We had 4 people putting tape on walls for the painters, 2 days later nothing was done and half of the tape fell on the floor due to humidity because the house was left open. I’m constantly reaching out; I have been rescheduled 4 times and nothing. One of my rooms does not get any air flow to it so the room is deathly hot. The warranty people came out and stated they cannot do anything because the AC is working however there is still NO air flowing in that room.

Per the contract, I had incentive money to utilize how I saw fit.
A draw salary structure in which takes at least a year or two to dig out of until you actually get a commission check. Expect to be onsite until at least 6pm and at times midnight. Okay money if you have 1 year to wait for homes to be built. When put in a great community, this job could be your dream job. But just like it could be your dream job it could just as easily turn into a nightmare.

We had to continually keep an eye on the whole process to make sure the options we selected in the Home Gallery were correctly included. We did not receive ANY updates from our Sales Rep unless we asked for them, and even then they were grudgingly provided, and very sparse. If I were to base my recommendation on my experiences with Ms. Gabrielle Logan, I would recommend that anyone I knew go to ANY homebuilder other than Richmond American.
We have purchased a new build home from Richmond American. Richmond has failed to keep up with their warranty agreement by servicing the house after our "30 day" walkthrough. Richmond has recycled employees and each time they lose someone or move someone, our repairs get lost in the mix. I have escalated to the superintendent of the house build, asking for their corporate office number or bosses' phone number and the superintendent told me he didn't have time to answer my request.

This house that my family were so excited for has turned into a nightmare and I cannot imagine what would have happened if we had sold our current home, or if we had been in an apartment and ended a lease. I am very fortunate to still have a place to live in and am worried about what is yet to come of this home and I wake up and just don’t know why this company cannot just make it easy on their customers. They will build cheaper houses all around your block and let yours and several others just sit undone for weeks between doing anything on them and what they do is very minimal and poor quality. Basically, get cheap easy build houses built so they can get a quick profit. Save yourself a year of heartbreak and go with someone else. 10 months and counting no wiring, no closing date, no real completion date and we were supposed to move in July.
